From the moment you find yourself on the picturesque Naramata Road you will feel like you have entered another world. You will experience lovely views of Okanagan Lake, Summerland and the mountains beyond as well as orchards, vineyards and wineries while you are transported to paradise.

Once you have arrived at A Country Hideaway sit where you have parked your car and enjoy the view. When you're ready, enter the garden gate and you will feel like you have come home.

It's winter, and although the gardens are asleep you will be welcomed inside with a cozy, warm, private suite. With a fire burning and music playing softly in the background, you can relax for a while before ordering food in or jumping in the hot-tub. There are lots of magazines and books and a selection of CDs to listen to or DVDs to watch.

Sleep soundly between cotton sheets and a big fluffy down duvet. In the morning sit down to a beautifully decorated breakfast table. Your breakfast will be accompanied with homemade jams and jellies, syrups, and a pitcher of juice and tea or coffee. Our menus change seasonally, but expect something special whatever the season.

Afterwards, get ready for your day at a leisurely pace. You may want to go for a walk along Naramata Road or down Boothe road into the village of Naramata for a stroll along the lake. Whichever way you go will be peaceful and scenic. Around 11 AM we'll join together for the workshop of your choice.

After we break for a scrumptious lunch, we'll continue your project, finishing late in the afternoon. Perhaps you and your friends could relax with a glass of wine by the fire, or outside on the front verandah if you come in the summer.

Your evening could begin with dinner at one of our many wonderful restaurants, continuing with a trip to the Lakeside Casino, and finishing with a dance at the Barking Parrot or The Blue Mule. If you wish, choose a quieter evening and after dinner watch a DVD, play cards or a game, jump in the hot tub, and simply enjoy the company of your good friends and chat the night away.

On Sunday morning, get up when you wish and enjoy another great breakfast. If you have opted for a two-part art project we will finish that, and then you can pack your belongings to head home.

Option A

One three-hour stamping class: cards, gift tags, etc.
All supplies included
$155 + GST per person

Option B

The same as option A, with a small wine tour organized on one of the days.

$165 + GST per person
